Basic Description: These wipes are for before or after sex. They come in a compact and resealable pouch, so you can toss them in your bag or purse. Each package comes with 25 wipes. The claim to be unscented.   

Pros: If you don't want to get up and take a shower right after sex, you can use these wipes as a substitute. The packaging is easy to open and reseal. It is small, so it can fit easily in your nightstand or under your bed. 

Cons: Even though they claim to be unscented, they do have a strong "wipe" scent. Also, they are quite pricey. Baby wipes would do the same things described by these wipes, and they're cheaper. 

Accessibility Features: These wipes make for easy before sex care or after sex cleanup, so not having to get up to get clean makes these wipes accessible. 

Ponderings: If you are someone who wants a wipe designed for sexual care, this might be a good option for you.

Hook Ups by Sex School

Sex School is a subscription website with lots of educational content about many different aspects of sex. I chose to watch "Hook Ups." For the first potion, four individuals chatted about sex, consent, how hook-ups feel, what to expect/not expect with hook-ups, etc. For the second portion, we saw some "Dos" and some "Dont's" with how to initiate a hook-up. We then followed the actual hook-up between two people. 

I appreciated in the first portion how everyone emphasized setting good boundaries and voicing what you want during a hook-up -- that's not something you often see. However, I wish that sort of checking-in had been more present in the actual hook-up demonstration portion of the video. While there was some talk about which protection to use, there was not much speaking between the pair beyond that. I feel the demo was a perfect opportunity to illustrate people openly communicating during sex (describe what they like, voicing/providing content, etc.), and that mark was missed a bit. However, I did enjoy that they really focused on genuine pleasure. Overall it was a great video about hook-ups!

Basic Description: This is a disposable after-sex clean up sponge designed to absorb sexual fluids after sex. This is not meant to be a form of birth control or STD/STD prevention. 

Pros: It is very, very lightweight. The sponge is soft and not too big. This could be a great alternative for folks who can not get to the bathroom to clean up.  Also, because it comes in single packets, it is great for travel too. 

Cons: If you can not reach your genitals and don't feel comfortable asking for assistance, you might not be able to use this product. The handle is very short, so you will need the ability to be precise with inserting it. This is not for external clean up, so if you can not handle penetration, this won't be useful for you. 

Accessibility Features: The fact you can clean up without going to the bathroom necessarily is great. The size and weight of the product also makes it more accessible. 

Ponderings: If you partake in penetrative sex that may lead to needing to clean up afterward and are interested in a relatively accessible way of doing that, this could be a good product for you.
